Volumio LINEO5 5V / 5A Linear Power Supply
LINEO5 is a dedicated low-noise 5V/5A linear power supply for compatible Volumio components and other suitable 5V audio equipment, replacing a switch-mode adapter with a larger regulated supply.
LINEO5 is an accessory rather than a source component, and it should be treated that way. It provides a stable 5V DC output at up to 5A and is specifically listed by Volumio for RIVO, RIVO+, PRECISO, Primo V2, Primo V3 and Primo Plus.
The supply uses a substantial aluminium chassis with side heatsinks and ships with AC cables including AU/NZ plus the DC output lead. It is not compatible with INTEGRO or MOTIVO, which use different power requirements.
A Proper Power Supply Upgrade
Use only where the voltage and connector match
The value of LINEO5 is straightforward: it replaces the small external switching supply on compatible 5V components with a dedicated linear unit. It should never be treated as a universal power accessory simply because the connector fits.
Compatibility
Know which Volumio components it is intended for
Volumio currently lists compatibility with RIVO, RIVO+, PRECISO, Primo V2, Primo V3 and Primo Plus. INTEGRO and MOTIVO are specifically excluded.
Installation
Allow space for heat and cabling
The chassis is 270 × 227 × 77mm and weighs around 4kg, so it needs more shelf space than the streamer it may be powering. Side-facing heatsinks should not be blocked in a tight cabinet.

LINEO5 is an accessory where compatibility has to be clear before it is recommended. On the supported Volumio 5V products it is a tidy, manufacturer-backed power upgrade with the right lead supplied; on an unrelated component it should not be sold on connector size alone.
Because the supply itself is large and heavy, allow proper shelf space and ventilation rather than hiding it behind the streamer.
