Description
Valerion VisionMaster Pro 2 4K RGB Triple Laser Home Cinema Projector
The VisionMaster Pro 2 combines 4K UHD projection, a 3,000 ISO-lumen RGB triple-laser light source, 0.9–1.5:1 optical zoom and modern HDR and gaming features in a compact home cinema projector.
VisionMaster Pro 2 suits customers building a large-screen movie and gaming system who want wide colour reproduction and more flexibility in projector positioning than a fixed-throw design allows. Its Google TV platform also makes it suitable for entertainment spaces where a separate streaming box is not always needed.
The best results still start with choosing the right screen and controlling room light. The projector, screen, viewing distance and audio system should be planned together before a permanent installation.
RGB Triple-Laser Projection
Wide colour and useful screen brightness
Separate red, green and blue laser illumination supports a manufacturer-claimed 110% Rec.2020 colour-gamut coverage. Brightness is rated at 3,000 ISO lumens. This gives the Pro 2 useful flexibility with screen size, although actual screen brightness depends on picture mode, image size, screen gain and calibration.
HDR and Black-Level Processing
Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and Enhanced Black Level
HDR support includes Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10 and HLG, alongside IMAX Enhanced and active 3D. Enhanced Black Level processing adjusts the laser output to improve perceived depth in darker scenes. The published 15,000:1 viewing-contrast figure is a processed contrast claim, not a native contrast measurement.
Optical Zoom and Room Planning
A flexible 0.9–1.5:1 throw ratio
The optical zoom allows the projector to make the same screen size from a useful range of distances. For a 120-inch 16:9 image, the approximate lens-to-screen distance is 2.39–3.98m. Final measurements should be checked against the room and mounting arrangement before installation.
Autofocus, automatic keystone correction, screen alignment and obstacle avoidance simplify setup. For a permanent cinema, physical alignment and optical zoom should be prioritised over digital keystone adjustments to preserve image detail. Pro 2 does not offer the powered vertical lens-shift feature found higher in the VisionMaster range.
Movie and Gaming Performance
Large-screen entertainment with low-latency modes
Input-lag ratings are 15ms at 4K/60Hz, 8ms at 1080p/120Hz and 4ms at 1080p/240Hz. These are different operating modes: the 240Hz headline applies at 1080p rather than native 4K/240Hz. ALLM and gaming aids support responsive play from suitable PCs and consoles.
Google TV and Connectivity
Streaming, audio and control in one projector
Google TV provides access to compatible streaming applications, with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. Wireless support includes Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, Chromecast, AirPlay 2 and Miracast. Connections include two HDMI 2.1 ports, an HDMI 2.0 port with eARC, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, optical digital audio, analogue audio and Ethernet.
The built-in dual 12W speakers are useful for casual viewing. For a permanent home theatre, we would normally plan an AV receiver or compatible external audio system, with HDMI source and eARC routing considered early.
Installation and Screen Matching
Plan the image before fixing the mount
Projector size, seating distance, ceiling height, available throw and screen material all influence the final image. The approximately 7kg chassis also needs an appropriately rated mount or stable stand and suitable ventilation. Cable access, power and future servicing should be allowed for when setting a ceiling position.

Important Notes
- The displayed 4K UHD image is produced using a 0.47-inch DLP device. It should not be described as a native 4K imaging-panel projector.
- The stated 15,000:1 viewing-contrast figure is not a native contrast specification.
- Pro 2 does not include powered vertical lens shift.
- Screen, mounting hardware and external audio equipment are separate system considerations; confirm package inclusions before ordering.
- Contact The Audio Experts to confirm current availability, delivery and installation options.
The Audio Experts Take
The Pro 2 is worth considering when the room needs one projector for both movie nights and fast gaming. Its optical zoom and wide-colour laser engine are useful strengths, but the installation should start with screen size and lens position rather than automatic geometry correction.
For a dedicated cinema we would favour good ambient-light control, a properly chosen screen and external surround audio. Where the ceiling mount position is already fixed or substantial vertical lens shift is required, confirm the geometry before choosing this model. Get those decisions right and the Pro 2 becomes a versatile large-screen centrepiece without unnecessary complexity.
