On-Site Diagnosis and System Troubleshooting

The Audio Experts Service Call is designed to identify and diagnose issues within your audio, home theatre or hi-fi system. During the visit, one of our technicians will inspect the system, investigate the problem described and determine the most effective solution.

The goal of the service call is to identify the fault and provide a clear path forward for repair, configuration or upgrade if required.

What the Service Call Includes

Professional system diagnosis

  • Inspect the system and equipment involved
  • Diagnose the issue described by the customer
  • Identify faults in components, connections or configuration
  • Provide a clear verbal explanation of the problem
  • Provide a quotation for any required repair or corrective work

If the issue is simple and can be corrected within the first hour, we will resolve the problem during the visit.

Transparent Service Pricing

Clear hourly service structure

The initial service call includes up to one hour of on-site diagnosis and troubleshooting.

Additional time beyond the first hour will be charged at:

$120 per hour (pro rata)

This applies if further work is required to complete repairs, adjustments or configuration.

Our South East Melbourne service area includes Bayside suburbs from Brighton through Sandringham, the broader south-east corridor through Glen Waverley, Rowville, Mulgrave, Keysborough, Springvale, Noble Park, Berwick and Narre Warren, and coastal suburbs down through Mentone, Parkdale, Mordialloc, Seaford, Frankston, Frankston South and as far as Mount Eliza, along with surrounding suburbs.

To make the most of your service call, we recommend having the following ready before our technician arrives:

  • Ensure the system is accessible and powered on where possible
  • Have all remote controls available
  • Have any relevant passwords ready for Wi-Fi, streaming apps or network devices
  • Make note of the issue you are experiencing and when it occurs
  • If the issue is intermittent, write down any patterns you have noticed
  • If other trades or installers have worked on the system recently, let us know
  • Please make sure pets are secured and the work area is safe and accessible
