At its heart is an ESS Sabre ES9028PRO DAC, capable of decoding high-resolution audio up to 32-bit/384kHz via USB and DSD playback. A wide range of digital and analogue inputs—including USB, coaxial, optical, Bluetooth with aptX HD, and analogue RCA—ensure seamless integration with modern and legacy sources alike.
The DX-3 features both balanced (4.4mm) and single-ended (6.35mm) headphone outputs, providing ample power and control for a broad range of headphones. Balanced XLR and RCA line outputs allow the DX-3 to function as a high-quality pre-amplifier for active speakers or external power amplifiers.
