It uses a 10-inch long-excursion treated paper cone woofer and a slim in-wall design that fits flush into the wall, making it a tidy solution for rooms where a conventional subwoofer cabinet is not practical.

Proficient says the design places the neodymium magnet inside the speaker cone to slim the woofer assembly so it can fit a standard wall cavity while still delivering bass that behaves more like a conventional subwoofer.
