Nagaoka MP-100 MP Stereo Cartridge
The MP-100 is Nagaoka's entry point into the Moving Permalloy range, using a 0.6mil bonded conical diamond, aluminium-alloy cantilever and healthy 5mV output for straightforward 47kΩ phono-stage matching.
This is a cartridge upgrade where setup matters. Correct overhang, alignment, tracking force and phono-stage loading are all part of getting the result the cartridge is capable of delivering.
Cartridge Design
It is deliberately simple and forgiving, making it a practical upgrade for many everyday turntables and mixed record collections.
System Matching and Setup
Use the manufacturer's recommended tracking-force range and a standard 47kΩ phono input where specified. Tonearm effective mass, headshell weight and available counterweight range should also be checked before installation.
