Nagaoka JT-80LB Jewel Tone MM Cartridge
The JT-80LB is Nagaoka's Lapis Blue Jewel Tone moving-magnet cartridge, combining a bonded elliptical diamond, aluminium-alloy cantilever and 5mV output with standard 47kΩ phono-stage loading.
This is a cartridge upgrade where setup matters. Correct overhang, alignment, tracking force and phono-stage loading are all part of getting the result the cartridge is capable of delivering.
Cartridge Design
Its body design reduces exposed fasteners around the headshell interface and places the stylus where it is easier to see during cueing and alignment.
System Matching and Setup
Use the manufacturer's recommended tracking-force range and a standard 47kΩ phono input where specified. Tonearm effective mass, headshell weight and available counterweight range should also be checked before installation.
