8-inch two-way in-wall speaker for larger stereo, surround and distributed-audio zones where more scale is required from each wall position.
W180 is the larger companion to the W165 concept. The 8-inch bass-mid driver gives it more cone area, making it useful in larger rooms or applications where fewer speaker locations need to cover more space.
Installation and System Planning
That does not automatically make it the better choice in every room. Wall space, listening distance and the number of speakers in the zone should decide between W165 and W180, with a subwoofer still useful when deep bass is an important part of the brief.
