Monitor Audio PLIC-BOX II In-Ceiling Back Box

Purpose-designed 24-litre MDF back box for Monitor Audio PLIC II in-ceiling speakers, with internal damping and a defined enclosure for planned ceiling installations.

The PLIC-BOX II gives a PLIC II speaker a known enclosure instead of leaving its rear loading to whatever ceiling cavity happens to be available. That is useful in new builds and dedicated rooms where repeatable installation conditions matter.

Installation and System Planning

At roughly 191.2 x 628.6 x 350mm and 5.3kg, it needs to be allowed for before the ceiling is closed. Framing, cable access and speaker position should be checked together, particularly where joists, ducts or lighting share the same ceiling space.
