The dual-stage circuitry with a passive RIAA equalization network of the LINDEMANN LIMETREE PHONO II uses the best J-FET amplifiers, which are currently available, and ultra precision resistors and capacitors from Japan.
The purely passive equalization has a significant advantage: the distortions in the bass range are much lower than with the usually applied circuits.
As power supply we use a “medical grade“ wall plug transformer which ensures a particularly good isolation from line disturbances. Together with the elaborated onboard filtering and special voltage regulators, we were able to realize an exceptionally low-noise power supply with a ripple voltage below 10 μV.
For MC there are various settings for the input impedance between 50 and 400 ohms (50 / 66 / 80 / 100 / 200 / 400).
