The V5 Corvus is designed to supply a multi-component hi-fi or home theatre system from one power distribution point. Its nine outlets connect to a central cleaning network rather than simply being wired in series, helping limit differential-mode noise transferred between connected components. The low-profile housing can be placed behind equipment or mounted using the supplied brackets.

The Corvus uses IsoTek's V5 delta-filter network, with a published 35dB RFI noise-reduction figure. Nine independently connected outlets help minimise differential-mode noise cross-contamination between components. A sequential, repeatable protection circuit is rated for 45,000A instantaneous surge protection.

Its total mains capacity is 10A or 2,300W at 230V. This rating applies to the combined load across the outlets and must not be exceeded.

EVO3 Premier 1.5m Power Cable Included

The Australian/New Zealand cable specification

This Corvus package is supplied with the IsoTek EVO3 Premier 1.5m mains cable, rather than the EVO3 Initium shown in some international package information. The Premier uses three 2.5mm² silver-plated 99.9999% oxygen-free copper conductors for the Australian/New Zealand version. Its conductors use PVC insulation, with cotton filler, a paper wrap and a flexible PVC outer jacket.

The cable has a 10mm outside diameter and bespoke moulded connectors with 24ct gold-plated contacts. The manufacturer publishes a 16A cable rating, but the permitted load of this installation is limited by the Australian fitted connectors and the Corvus's 10A mains inlet and total-load rating.

System Link and Installation

A dedicated System Link output supports compatible IsoTek equipment using a correctly rated System Link cable. It is not a tenth standard mains outlet. The Corvus measures 170 × 50 × 380mm and weighs approximately 2kg, allowing flexible positioning when there is suitable ventilation and accessible power connections.

Before installing, check the combined equipment load, where the 1.5m supplied lead will run and whether there is enough clearance for plugs and cable bends. Avoid placing tension on the Corvus inlet or the equipment-end cable connectors.
