The Monitor III BT active speaker is a Bluetooth model that follows the acoustic formula of the famous Monitor III, augmented by a 2x25W stereo amplifier, an audio DAC and a wireless audio receiver. The built-in amplifier is equipped with digital inputs to connect an HDTV, CD player or any source with coaxial or optical S/PDIF connectors. The embedded DAC is compatible with CD-quality audio streams. The Bluetooth receiver allows wireless audio streaming from any Bluetooth enabled smarthpone, tablet or computer: convenient for listening to online music services and MP3 files. The Monitor III BT also has two analog stereo inputs and one subwoofer output. Finally, the USB port charges the battery of a smartphone or tablet and the supplied remote control selects the input and controls the smartphone or tablet in Bluetooth mode.
