The Airpulse A100 is a compact active speaker system designed to deliver a complete stereo setup without a separate amplifier. One cabinet houses the electronics and input switching, with dedicated Class-D amplification for the ribbon tweeters and 5-inch mid-woofers.

The combination of compact cabinets, multiple digital inputs and a subwoofer output makes the A100 particularly useful for desktop systems, smaller living rooms and television/music setups where full-size separates would be excessive.

Each speaker uses a horn-loaded ribbon tweeter and a 5-inch aluminium-cone mid-woofer. The tweeter and woofer sections are separately amplified, allowing the crossover and amplifier channels to be tailored to each driver.

The A100 provides 10W per tweeter and 40W per woofer for 100W total system output. XMOS-based digital processing manages the input and amplification platform.

The cabinets measure 160 x 283 x 255mm and use 18mm MDF with a high-gloss finish. At 11kg per set, they are more substantial than their footprint suggests and benefit from solid stands or a stable desktop surface.
